Sunshine at Sheetz

One of the most annoying facts about Northeast Pennsylvania is that it will rain in the spring - most of the time!  So when it comes to planning outside events, such as car cruises, it can be very rewarding when you get a “perfectly timed sunshine occurrence”.

Such was the case on Saturday, May 21st for the Hi Lites Motor Club cruise to Sheetz in Trucksville, PA. 

Sandwiched in between several weeks of very bad weather and predictions of more bad weather, the event was held with ample sunshine and moderate temperatures.

Over 40 vehicles attended, with a fine sampling of classic, muscle cars, rods, pickups and a few ‘2 wheelers’.

Rain Cancels April 16th Bob Evans Cruise

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

The forecast for heavy rain in the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area has forced the Hi Lites Motor Club to make the decision to cancel the April 16th event at Bob Evans Restaurant.

Hi Lites Announces 2011 Event Schedule

April Meeting Returns to Grotto Pizza

The location of the April 6th, 2011, meeting of the Hi Lites Motor Club has been scheduled to be at the "Grotto Pizza and The Grand Slam Sports Bar".

The Grotto is located on Route 415 on Harveys Lake, PA.  The meeting is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM.  All members are encouraged to attend.  As always, guests are also welcome.
